The base unit of the monitoring, providing a link between the physical environment to be monitored and the user’s digital monitoring and control interface. Complete with its own in-built temperature monitor, PoE and ports for 2 additional sensors or an expansion hub.
Optional add-ons for enhanced functionality
ServersCheck's new add-on modules expand the power and networking potential of the SensorGateway. By default, the base unit requires an RJ45 and 12V DV or PoE input with network-based alerting, but this can be reconfigured thanks to these add-on modules:

Plug & play operation that makes monitroing easier than ever before
With its inbuilt temperature sensor and dual ports for additional sensor probes (temperature+humidity, temperature, power failure, water leakage and many more), the SensorGateway is the starting point for your complete monitoring solution. The on-board web server, alerts to your smartphone via email/SMS, plus an OLED display for quick reference, all give you quick and accurate readings from the integrated temperature probe's accurate readings (temperature resolution to 0.1°C).
Expand your monitoring & control potentials
Expand your monitoring and control potential with our range of expansion hubs. Connecting directly to your SensorGateway, these units provide additional ports for wired sensors or the ability to connect multiple wireless probes. You can even integrate dry contact switching, allowing for use of legacy sensors and the ability to customise your own control interventions.
The standard SensorGateway supports up to 2 additional wired sensors, but this can be upped to 5 (by connecting the MultiSensor & Hub), 8 Sensors (Sensorhub) or 30 wireless sensors (via the wireless hub). One expansion hub per SensorGateway is supported.
Add up to 8 additional wired sensors, legacy sensors & even configure intelligent automated responses
By default the SensorGateway offers 2 ports for connecting ServersCheck wired sensors. If you require monitoring of multiple parameters, or the same parameter but across multiple points, then the Sensorhub easily connects to the base unit, opening up additional ports (similar to how a USB hub on a computer works).
Additional to the 8 sensor ports, the Sensorhub features 4 dry contact inputs, 2 dry contact outputs and 2 relay outputs.
The 4 dry contact inputs allow for the seamless integration of sensors like motion detectors, smoke,door contact,or any legacy equipment featuring a dry contact output. Alert conditions can be configured to be triggered by an OPEN or CLOSED state.
The 2 relay outputs can be utilised to trigger switching of equipment in response to critical events or changesin environmental conditions which present potential problems.For example, the Sensorhub can be configured to switch on a backup airconditioner if the room temperature exceeds a certain point.

Go wireless to multiply your monitoring with ease
Once connected to the SensorGateway base unit the wireless hub can network to up to 30 temperature probes or 15 temperature + humidity probes, providing simple and secure reporting every 3 minutes within a 10m radius.
The wireless hub is the module that the user connects to the base unit in order to receive data from the wireless sensors. ServersCheck provides two options in battery-powered wireless sensor probes: temperature and temperature + humidity.
Temperature & humidity monitoring like you've never seen before
The wireless hub has the capacity to support up to 30 temperature probes or 15 temperature + humidity probes. Put another way, it can support up to 30 monitoring values, with the temperature probe recording a single value, while the temperature + humidity option records 2. This means you can mix and match. For example a set up could include 10 temperature + humidity probes plus 10 temperature probes: (2 x 10) + 10 = 30. Our wireless sensors report their status evert 3 minutes within a 10m radius to the wireless hub via the widely used 2.4 Ghz frquency. AES 128-bit encryption provides a strong layer of security for your data. Omni-directional high gain antennnas can be utilised for increased performance. One wireless hub is supported per base unit.
Default monitoring over IP address
Every SensorGateway in your monitoring network has its own IP address (check out the Sensor Platform user manual to learn how to configure the IP address) through which you can track metrics, set alerts and more for all the units connected to that SensorGateway. By assigning an IP within your secure network you can easily ensure the integrity of your sensor data.

Copper components used in critical infrastructure like cell sites to protect them from electrical damage from power surges are an attractive target for thieves. ServerCheck's digital Ground Monitoring Sensor provides an added layer of security additonal to CCTV to generate instant alerts when grounding is compromised, either through tampering by thieves, or the longterm effects of corrosion and natural deterioration.
Remote power monitoring & control of generators
When mains power to a remote site is lost, auxiliary power generators are vital to maintain operations until things are up and running again. Door contact sensors provide a simple but effective way of alerting management to unauthorised access to secure sites. Simply connect it to the dry contact input of an IO - Dry Contact Sensor or Sensorhub and configure your alert or automated response.
Dry contact monitoring
Commonly deployed dry contact alarms and legacy sensors can be easily integrated into a ServersCheck solution via any of our units featuring dry contact input and outputs. The purpose-built IO - Dry Contact Sensor provides 16 dry contact inputs which can trigger 4 dry contact outputs. Inputs are configurable to normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC), and a triggering of these to abnormal states can generate alerts via SNMP traps to the Network Operations Centre (NOC), or via email to field engineers. Via relay switching these alerts can also trigger automated responses, like turning on a water pump if flooding is detected.

HVAC climate infrastructure
ServersCheck sensors can monitor the integrity of climate control and air conditioning systems:
- Our multi-purpose Vibration & Shock Sensor can be deployed to monitor large air vents for abnormal vibrations that are symptoms of equipment malfunction
- The Water Leak Detection Sensor can be cabled to chiller pipes to detect leaks
- The Digital Airflow Sensor can be configured to ensure proper flow of air throughout the system
International best practice — such as the standards stipulated by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) — states that operating rooms should meet the following conditions:
- Air should be changed frequently (4 times per hour)
- Relative humidity (rH) should be in the range of 30 - 60%
- Temperature should be between 20 - 24°C
These three requirements can be easily accomplished on a single base unit with a Temperature & Humidity Sensor plus a Digital Airflow Sensor airflow sensor attached.
Pharmacy & medical cold storage
Similar to operating rooms, pharmacies (particularly those in hospitals) operate best in specific conditions. Air quality is important, and can be monitoring not only through the Airflow but also the Dust Sensor.
Temperature-sensitive materials like medications (especially vaccines), tissue and blood samples requiring cold storage and compliance documentation can be monitored with out Stainless Steel Temperature Sensors. IP65-rated, sensitive to 0.1°C and able to provide continuous real time reporting and alerts via the SensorGateway, this sensor offers huge benefits compared to traditional data loggers, enhancing compliance while further reducing demands on staff.
